YouTube doesn’t allow to download video and audio from YouTube. it’s not part of Google’s law. You can use the third party app to download the audio of any YouTube video.

In iPhone, you cannot get the app. you can search in app store. You can hear it in the app only but cannot save it in the phone. in Android, you can save the audio in phone.

Follow these steps to download audio from YouTube videos:

  1. Install third-party app: Download third-party app from the play store or app store. There are many apps which convert the file into MP3.
  2. Open the app: Open ‘YouTube’ app on your phone. Android phones already have inbuilt YouTube app.
  3. Search a video: You can search videos in search tab at the top right corner.
  4. Select the video: Select the video you want to use for the audio download.
  5. Copy the video URL: Tap on the share option below the video. Copy the link of the video.
  6. Open the app: Open downloaded third-party app to download the audio.
  7. Enter the video URL: Enter video URL in URL box. 
  8. Select the audio format: Now select the audio format such as MP3 for the video.

You can download the audio by using third-party app on both desktop or mobile devices. We don’t claim that you should download it or not because according to YouTube, it’ illegal.

  1. Download third-party app: There are many apps and website which provides the facility of downloading the audio of YouTube videos. There are many apps which converts the file into MP3.  Download the app or use its website.
  2. Open YouTube: Open ‘YouTube’ in the desktop browser. You don’t need to sign in.
  3. Search a video: Now search the video in search tab at the top right corner.
  4. Select the video: Select the video for download the audio.
  5. Copy the video URL: Copy the URL of the video which is on the top of the website link. Click on the share option below the video. Here also, you can get a link.
  6. Open the app or website: Open the app or website to download the audio.
  7. Paste the video URL: Paste the URL in URL box. 
  8. Choose the format: Now choose the audio format such as MP3.  

That’s how you can download YouTube videos in audio format.
