If you have a YouTube channel and for any reason, you want to delete your channel, you can do it easily. You can permanently delete YouTube channel. You can delete your content and keep your channel on YouTube.

Delete YouTube Channel on Mobile

Steps to delete YouTube channel

You can delete YouTube channel on desktop only. This service is not available on mobile app. Here are the steps which can help you to understand the deletion process.

  1. Open your browser: Open your preferred browser.
  2. Open YouTube: Open YouTube and sign in with your YouTube account.
  3. Click on your profile picture: Click on your profile picture at the top right corner.
  4.  Click on ‘settings’: Click on ‘settings’ option to start the process.
  5. Click on ‘advance settings’: Click on ‘advance settings’ option at the bottom left corner.
  6. Click on ‘delete channel’: At the bottom, you can see an option ‘delete channel’ in blue box. Click on it to delete your channel.
  7. Enter your password to verify: Now a new tab will open. You have to type your password to verify the account.
  8. Choose an option for delete: A new tab will open. Google will ask to pick that what you want to delete. Click on ‘I want to permanently delete my channel’.
  9. Confirm the terms: Now you click on two terms and conditions in the boxes given at the left of the details. When you will click, it will appear as a blue right sign mark in the boxes.
  10. Click on ‘delete my content’: Now click on the ‘delete my content’ option at the bottom. Confirm it again when a new box pops up.
  11. Enter your mail ID again: Google will again verify you and will ask you to type your mail ID. Enter the mail ID and the click on ‘delete my content’ option ta bottom.

Now your YouTube channel has been permanently deleted. Google will take some time to delete your all contents. If your content is too much, then it will take few days.
