Step-2 Go to Apps: In the settings of your mobile you will find options of "apps". You have to find it and open it.

  • If you are unable to find it then you can also search it in the search bar provided on the top once you open the settings in your mobile phone.

Step-3 Select YouTube: Once you open the "apps" option in the settings, you will see a list of all your apps present on your mobile. You have to find YouTube and click on it.

Step-4 Go to Notifications: After clicking on YouTube you will again see a list in which you have to go on the "notifications" option in order to stop them.

Step-5 Disable the Show Notifications Option: After opening the notifications options you will see a button on the right-hand side. Turn it off by clicking it.

  • To check if it got off, you can also see the line right behind the button that says "Notifications from this app are blocked".
  • If you see this that means your YouTube notifications have been turned off and it will not bother you until you turn it on again.

Does YouTube also Send Notifications of Any Shorts From Subscribed Channels?

YouTube does not send notifications of every short coming up. It does not show even if you subscribed to channel. Or even if you have hit the bell icon. It will send you notifications about shorts only if you watch them on daily basis and spend a particular time watching them.
