How to Use Canva App for Free
Canva is a great application to add a beautiful layer by editing the photos or videos on it. Plus you can make your design and share the design on Canva. Canva Free vs Paid
Step-1 Open the Canva App: You must have installed Canva from the google play store. Now go to the Canva. Tap on it and open Canva.
Step-2 From your homepage, click on the + icon to start from scratch: Once the homepage of the canva appears on your screen. You have to go to the +icon located at the right corner of the page. Tap on +icon. It will make you start from scratch.
Step-3 You can pick from ‘custom dimensions’ or a range of pre-selected sizes, use a custom size: The +icon will open a page with several different options. You can see a custom size there. Although you can choose any dimensions of your choice. But here we are using custom size. So tap on a custom size.
Step-4 After choosing the custom size, you need to fill the width and height of the canvas: Then, the custom size will open a page where you have to enter height and width. So fill the width and height along with the measurement unit of the canvas.
Step-5 Click on 'Create Design'. This will create a canvas for you to work on that: Once you entered the height and width, then a creative design option is ready to click. So you have to click on create a design. And it will create a blank canvas for you.
Step-6 For a blank Canvas, choose a background with color: Now for the blank canvas, you have to choose a background. You can choose any color for the background.
- Now from the toolbar at the bottom, click on the color picker tool.
- Then tap on the color you like for the background.
- Then it's done.
Step-7 Click on the + icon in the editor menu in the bottom left corner: Next, you have to tap on the + icon situated at the bottom left menu. It's on the extreme corner side of the editor page.
Step-8 Add Your Text: You can see a text option laying on the bottom toolbar. Tap on it. You can add a simple text or a combination text of your choice. The purple lines will help you place the text properly.
Step-9 After choosing the combinations, you can edit, delete or format the text: Next, you can edit the text written on your design. You can delete or format the text too. Also, you can change the size, color, style, etc of the text.
Step-10 Add elements: Then the next step is to add the elements to your design. You can add unique layouts, and search for innumerable images or logos. You can do it at your convenience. Tap on the element option and choose the elements.
Step-11 Upload your photos from the gallery: There is an option of Uploads on the toolbar. You can tap on it and upload photos from the gallery on your phone. Just tap on the image you want to use in your design. And the image will appear on the design.
Step-12 After creating your layout, save it by clicking on the ‘download’ button to download it: Once you are done with your design then you have to save it. Go to the download button at the right top corner. Tap on it and download it.
Step-13 Select your favorite format: Then, a list of different formats appears on your screen. Choose your preferred format and tap on it. Then your design is ready to display.
Can You Add Audio While Designing On Canva?
Yes, you can add audio to your design on canva. You can find the audio option on the bottom toolbar. Tap on it and select your choice of audio. Then apply it to your design.
