  • Manage your preferences

  • Video settings, etc.

From these options, you have to click on the first option that says 'Navigation'.

Step-5 Click On The 'Unmute' & 'Loud' Tabs: In Navigation, you have to make the following changes:

  • In the 'Sounds & Voice' section, first you have to click on the third tab that says 'Unmute'.
  • Then in the 'Guidance Volume' section, again tap on the third tab that says 'Loud'.

Step-1 Go To The Google Maps Application: We will now move to the second method in which you can make Google Maps talk on your iPhone with the help of the voice icon.

To start with it, simply go to the Google Maps application in your mobile phone.

Step-2 Click on the 'Search' Tab: On the top of the screen in the Google Maps app:

  • You will see the search bar with the title 'Search here'.
  • Click on the 'Search here' tab now.

Step-3 Search For a Place: In the 'Search here' tab, you have to search for a particular place by entering the name of the place.

  • Then, click 'Enter' key to search.

Step-4 Click on the 'Directions' Button: At the bottom of the screen, you will see the 'Directions' button. Click on this button to see the directions to that place.

Step-5 Add A Starting Location: Since you want to look for the directions to the place that you have entered earlier, you have to enter a starting point as well.

  • Click on 'Choose starting point'.
  • Enter the location from where you want to start your journey.

Step-6 Click On The Start Icon: Then, you have to click on the start icon which is present at the bottom right corner of the screen. This icon is represented by a small arrow which looks like a compass.

Step-7 Click On The 'Voice' Icon: On the right side of your screen, you must be able to see for small icons in circular shape. From these icons, just click on the 'Voice' Icon which is the second icon.

Step-8 Enable Voice: Then, click on the enable voice icon to enable the voice or just unmute it so that you can get verbal voice navigations as well.
