Step-2 Click On the 'More' Icon: After reaching the home screen of the Gmail app in your iPhone, you have to find the 'More' option.

Step-3 Go To 'Settings': When you click on the 'More' option in the previous step:

  • A sidebar menu will open up on the screen on the left side only.
  • In the side menu bar, you will find the 'Settings' option. Just click on it.

Step-4 Tap On 'Inbox customizations': After your 'Settings' open up, you have to scroll down until you reach the option that says 'Inbox customizations'.

You have to press the 'Inbox customizations' option when you find it.

Step-5 Click On 'Labels': In the same section only, you will find the 'Labels' option below the Inbox Tips. Tap on the 'Labels' option to reach your desired goal.

Step-6 Hit the 'Create New' Option: The 'Labels' section would be empty if you do not have any labels already.

  • Your primary task is to create a label now.
  • In order to create a new label, hit the tab that says '+ Create new.

Step-7 Type The 'Label Name': Next, you simply have to find a suitable name that you want to give to your label. And, then enter that name in the text area as shown in the picture below.

Step-8 Press 'Done': Finally, after you are done with everything:

  • Recheck the label name.
  • Then, press the 'Done' button from the top right side of the screen to save the label in your settings.
