Step-2 Tap on Profile Photo: Once, you open the Snapchat app look at the top left corner of the screen.

  • You will find your Profile Picture. Your profile picture is a cartoon or a bitmoji picture that you create. This profile picture is called avatar a lot of times. You can make various changes to your avatar like hair, makeup, dress, etc. If you haven't already set your profile photo then it will be shown as a blank human photo.
  • Tap on the profile photo icon.

Step-3 Tap Settings icon: The profile page will open. Have a look at the top right side.

  • You will find the settings option. I hope you know the gear option is of Settings
  • Tap on the Settings option.

Step-4 Swipe down: The settings page will appear. Scrolling down you can search for the App Appearance option.

Step-5 Tap App Appearance: On finding the app appearance option, tap on it to select.

Step-6 Tap Always Dark: Lastly, choose the option Always Dark. To select the options tap on them and the blue tick mark will appear which means it is now changed.

Step-1 Open Snapchat: As usual begin with launching the Snapchat app. If you don't have the app, there's no problem. Because you can always install it from the Appstore for free. Then, tap on the app to open it. You can also get Snapchat on chrome.

Step-2 Tap on Profile Photo: On opening the Snapchat app at the top left corner of the screen you will find your Profile Picture. Tap on it.

Step-3 Tap Settings icon: The page that opens is your profile page. At the top right corner, you will find the settings option. The gear icon represents settings.

Step-4 Swipe down: The settings page will appear. You have to scroll down and look for the option named App Appearance.

Step-5 Tap App Appearance: On finding the app appearance option, tap on it to select.

Step-6 Tap Match System: On clicking on App Appearance three options will be there. Select the very first option which says "Match System".

Step-7 Open Settings: Then from your iPhone open the settings app. The settings icon is like a gear.

Step-8 Tap Display & Brightness: Now go on searching for the option Display & Brightness. On finding it click on it.

Step-9 Tap Dark mode: On clicking on the option Display and Brightness, you will find two modes to choose from Light and Dark.
