Step-1 Open Settings App: In your app library find the settings app. The settings icon will look like the one encircled run the picture below. Tap on it to open settings.

Step-2 Tap General: In the settings menu, scroll down and look for General. Click on General.

Step-3 Tap AirPlay and Handoff: A new page will open. In the page, there will be multiple options. Tap on AirPlay & Handoff which is below the Airdrop option.

Step-4 Tap on Automatic: The AirPlay & Handoff settings will open. Now, you will see an option that says: Automatically AirPlay to Tvs. Tap on the Automatic option on the right side.

Step-5 Tap on Never: Now, you will see three different options:

  • Never
  • Ask
  • Automatic

Tap on Never. You have successfully turned off AirPlay!

  • Change the Access settings from Everyone to Anyone on the same network
