Step-1 Open Up Your Gmail: Let us get started by opening up the Gmail application on our iPhone. If you do not have this app downloaded to your device, then:

Step-2 Go To 'More' Option: Then, on the top leftmost side of your screen, you will find the 'More' icon. It is a hamburger menu icon on which you have to click in order to expand it.

Step-3 Go to 'Settings': Towards the end of the list menu, you will find the 'Settings option. Click on 'Settings' in order to land in the settings section.

Step-4 Tap On 'Inbox customizations': After that, in 'Settings' you have to do these two things:

  • Find the 'INBOX' section.
  • In the INBOX section, choose the second option which is 'Inbox customizations'.

Step-5 Choose 'Labels': In Inbox Customisations, you have select the third tab which is the 'Labels' tab.

Step-6 Select The Label To Delete: If you have only a single label that you want to delete, then just click on that particular label.

And, if you have multiple labels then, select the label or labels that you want to remove from your Gmail.

Step-7 Tap On the 'Delete Name' Button: After selecting, just click on the 'Delete Name' Button which is present at the bottom of the names as you can see in the picture attached below for your reference.

Step-8 Click On 'Delete': Finally, the Gmail app will ask for your confirmation to delete the label via the 'Delete Name'?' question prompt. Here, you have two on 'Delete' to finally delete the label.
