Step-3 Click On 'Sticker' Icon: Then, do the following things in order to add music to an Instagram story:

  • Choose the 'Story' option from the list.
  • Then, select the picture of video that you want to add to your story.
  • After doing this, click on the 'Sticker' option from the top-right side has shown in the picture below.

Step-4 Click on 'Music': In this list of stickers, you will see your variety of stickers and emojis such as:

  • Questions
  • Instagram Poll
  • Avatar
  • Reaction
  • GIFs
  • Quiz
  • Music, etc

From all these options, you have to choose the 'Music' sticker for now.

Step -5 Select Your Music/Song: Finally, you can select the song or the audio that you want to add to your Instagram story from millions of songs that are available in the music library of the Instagram app.

  • Just click on a song to select it.
  • You cna also search for a song with the help of the search bar on the top.

Step -6 Click on 'Done': Finally, you just have to play on the 'Done' option from the top right corner of the screen after you have added the song of your choice to your story.
