How to Use Dualless in Google Meet

When you share your screen in google meet, you see the screen you present. Due to this, you cannot keep an eye on the participants of the meeting even if their cameras are on. To avoid this, use dualless in google meet. This is a chrome extension that helps you split your single screen into two windows. Double screen, double task, keep an eye on each task simultaneously!

Use Dualless in Google Meet in 12 Steps

Step-1 Open Chrome: Take your laptop or PC and open your google chrome browser. To clarify, Dualless is a chrome extension. So you must use the chrome browser.

Step-2 Search Chrome Extensions: Now, type in 'chrome extensions' and search for it.

Step-3 Click on 'Chrome Web Store': Now, on searching for chrome extensions, many web links will appear. However, ensure that you click on the correct one to avoid redirecting yourself. You will see a link to chrome.google.com with the words 'Chrome Web Store' highlighted. Look at the image for reference and click on it.

Step-4 Search Dualless: Under the list of extensions, search for dualless. Use the search bar to quickly reach the goal.

Step-5 Click on the Extension: After finding it, click on it. Look at the image below so that you identify a correct extension.

Step-6 Click on 'Add to Chrome': By clicking on the extension, you will see an option of adding it to chrome. Click on that and you would be nearly done.

Step-7 Click on Add Extension: When you add it to chrome, a dialogue box will appear asking you to add the extension. Add it.

Step-8 Open Google Meet and Join Meeting: To use dualless in google meet, you need to open google meet now. So, join a meeting here. If you received a google meet link in advance, you can check the code and use it to join.

Step-9 Join Now or Ask to Join: Whichever option appears in front of you to join, click on it. Make sure you have made the audio-video settings as per your need.

Step-10 After Joining, click on Dualless Icon: In the extensions bar beside the search bar, you will see the icon of dualless. It looks like a single-window split into two. Click on that.

Step-11 Select your Preferred Size: Now, all you have to do is choose the ratio in which you want to split your window. You can keep your primary window large and the secondary window small. Or you can even keep them both equal.

Step-12 All Done: After you select the size, your window will split into two. Another google chrome window will open by the side. Thus, you use dualless in google meet!

How to Use Dualless in Google Meet?

Well, now you know how to split your window into two, right? Now, you need to join the google meeting from another chrome tab too. Like this, you can present your screen from one tab and have an eye on participants on the other. It is like you joining the meet from two different devices by using just one device.
