You can set up Instagram Bio in just five easy steps. If you created a new Instagram account, you must be learning and getting along with it. Well, firstly, you must set up your Bio on Instagram. Now, what is a bio, and what's the use of it? Bio is crisp information about you that others see on opening your profile. Bio is something that everyone sees firsthand whether your account is public or private. Now, how does it help?

It helps in expressing yourself in a crisp manner.
You can enter your interests here so that viewers know what to expect from your Instagram activity.
If it is a business or a creator page, your bio must describe who you are, what you do and how do you cater to your audience.
From reading your bio, people will decide whether to follow you or not.
Thus, it is a very important part of your Instagram profile.

How to Write Perfect Instagram Bio

Set Up Instagram Bio in 5 Quick Steps

Step-1 Open Instagram Application: On your mobile device, open the free Instagram application that is purple and yellow in color. If you haven't created an account yet, create it. You can even log in to your existing account

Step-2 Click on Profile Icon: On the bottom right corner, you will see a miniature of your profile picture if you have set it up. If not, a small person's icon is visible.

By tapping on that, you go to your Instagram profile.
From here, you can view your information and edit it accordingly.

Step-3 Edit Profile: Adding bio is about editing profile as it is a piece of crucial profile information. Just below your profile picture and number of followers and following, you will see a tab of Edit Profile.

To set up an Instagram bio, click on that tab.
There are many different options for editing further.

Step-4 Click on Bio: Now, from here, you can change your profile picture, username, category, and a lot more. To set up an Instagram bio, go to the empty space above which Bio is written.

It is the fourth option just below the website.
It is written in very light grey color, so look carefully.
Just below that, an empty space is there. Click on that to go further.

Step-5 Set it Up: By clicking on that blank space, you redirect to another page. Here, you can type in your bio. The maximum number of characters that you can use for typing bio is 150. So, make the most of it.

You can use emojis, hashtags, mention some other account with the help of @ sign and create your Bio.
Once you type it out, click on the blue tick mark at the top-right corner.
Thus, your bio is set up and you can now see it along with your profile information.

So, before you find friends on Instagram, make sure you set up Instagram bio. Like this, they will know who is sending follow request and they will accept it if they know you. You can even attract new friends by putting in a strong bio. You can add where you study, what do you study, what kind of job do you do, the location where you live, a quote you strongly believe in, some social movements that you support, what you are passionate about, and a lot more. There are no boundaries as to what you can or cannot add to your bio. You can decide it as per how and as what you want to be seen on social media.
