Will Someone Know If I Report their Profile on Snapchat?

Snapchat is a master at keeping things confidential. You can report anyone's profile on Snapchat without them knowing.

Snapchat doesn't send the user any notification informing them who reported the profile; in a similar fashion, they also don't send notifications when you add nicknames to your friend on Snapchat.

What Does the "Hourglass" Emoji Next to My Friend's Name on Snapchat mean?

The hourglass emoji on Snapchat is just like a timer. However, it is a sort of an alarm that you need to send a snap to that user as soon as possible before the streaks break.

When this emoji appears next to your friend's name, quickly send them a snap and save your snap streak from breaking down.

Do Chats Help in Building Streaks on Snapchat?

No, text messages do not add to your snap streaks. Streaks can only be made on Snapchat when you send snaps to your friend. Anything besides snaps is not counted as streaks.

Neither video calls nor audio calls add to your snap streak. If you want to maintain streaks with your friend, keep sending them snaps.
