Step 1: Open the PhonePe application- On your mobile device you will see a violet icon with "Pe" written on it in Hindi. Just tap on that icon to launch the PhonePe application on your mobile device.
Step 2: Tap on the Electricity option - After you open the PhonePe application scroll down and under the recharge and bills category you will see an electricity option. Just tap on the option to pay your electricity bill using the PhonePe application.
Step 3: Enter your service provider name: You will see a screen where you will have to enter your electricity service provider name. Just enter the name in the "Type your provider name" box present at the top of the screen. The app will automatically start giving options for your entered service provider just tap on the desired option.
Step 4: Enter your Unique service number: After you have chosen your Service provider it will ask for your unique service number which you will find on your electricity bill. Just enter the number in the given box present at the top of the screen and then tap on Confirm.
Step 5: Choose the PhonePe wallet as a payment method: Now you will be redirected to the payments page and it will show your bill amount with that. Make sure to choose the PhonePe wallet as your payment method in order to pay via your PhonePe wallet.
Step 6: Tap on Done: Your payment will be processed it may take up to 1 minute to process the payment depending upon your internet connection speed. Once your payment is processed you will see a payment successful screen. Tap on the done option present at the bottom of the page.
You Bill payment is now successfully done. Similarly, you can also pay other bills like Gas, DTH, etc. You may also get some cashback offers while paying with PhonePe. In order to get the latest cashbacks, it is very important to keep your app updated.
