How to add Multiple Bank Accounts on Google Pay

Recently the payment method under Google Pay name is getting quite popular. It uses UPI as India has it on quite a popular stage. This has been quite popular because of its ease in use. A Google Pay Account can easily help you pay your bills, recharge your mobiles, book tickets for train or movies, pay insurance premium, or recharge your DTH account, you can also send the money into someone’s bank account, etc.

It’s normally seen that many people like to add more than one bank account. It’s convenient to have both of your bank accounts linked with Google pay so you can use both of them when you require a specific one. Here, we will guide you through with the steps of add more than one bank accounts to your Google Pay Account in just a few easy steps.

Follow the steps:

Here we consider that you have Google Pay App already installed. Click on the Google Pay App in your app drawer. If you haven’t installed the app yet for some reason, I would suggest you follow those simple steps and do it.

After opening, sign into the app if you have an account and haven’t signed in. Sign in can be done with your Mobile number and OTP verification. You can skip this step if you’re signed in.

On the home screen you will see your profile icon with your picture on it. This will be present on the right side top of your Mobile screen. From here, the process of adding another bank account with your Google Pay account starts.

You will see a tab named “Payment Settings” in the middle of the screen. Click on it. This will show your default bank account.

You will see the “ADD BANK ACCOUNT” section on the next screen. Click on that. The next screen will show various banks which are supported by Google Pay. Click on the bank name in which you have your account. There will be a pop up which will show your number, you must verify that this number is associated with the bank account you are wishing to add at the moment. Click “Send SMS”.

After this, your task is done. Google Pay will take a few moments to add your bank account to your Google Pay Account. If this does not happen, you probably should check the mobile number you entered. Or you should get in touch with your bank. You can add a third bank account in the same way as shown above.

  3. Click Your Profile
  4. Click Payment Methods
  5. Add an Account
  6. You are done.
