Step-1 Open Play Store Application: Firstly, you need to go to the bank of all applications. That is the play store. From here, you can download any application of your choice.

And don't worry, the play store application is available on all devices by default. Nobody can uninstall it.
Its icon is triangular in shape with blue, green, red, yellow, all four colors in it. However, you will see more blues and reds.

Step-2 Search Box: Found the play store application? Now, you will see different categories of applications here. The play store is home to lakhs of applications with millions of users.

But don't worry. You do not need to surf through them.
On the top, there is a search box.
It has the icon of a little magnifying glass on the left and a microphone on the right.
Click on the search bar to go further.

Step-3 Type Instagram: By clicking on the search box, the keyboard is activated. Type in 'Instagram' in it. You can use the microphone option too. By this, you can speak the word 'Instagram' and the play store records it.

Step-4: Select Instagram: Now, you need to select Instagram. It will either come up in suggestions or you will have to look for its icon.

Its icon is purplish yellow in color in a square shape.
Its edges are not pointy but smooth.
Inside the square, there is a small circle and a dot on the right-hand side.
Its icon resembles a camera.
Once you find it, click on it and go further.

Step-5 Install It: Lastly, you need to click on the green-colored install icon. By doing so, it will start downloading on your device. Thus, you can install Instagram.

Step-6 It's Done: The application is ready to be used on your device. Open it.
