Step-1 Open Google Sheets App: Ready to get going? Well then, open up the google sheets application on your device. You have to look for a green-colored icon having white cells over it. Easy to spot. If you cannot find it, then go to the play store, search for Google Sheets and download it.

Step1 Image Link

Step-2 Tap on Any Cell: If you are just practicing, then open up any of the Google Sheets documents and tap on any cell. But if you're ready to insert an image for a purpose, be careful.

  • From the list of your sheets, select the one you want to work on.
  • In that, select the specific cell inside which you want an image.

  • Just observe. Your screen shows you the entire function. The function toolbar writes half the function for you.
  • You just have to insert the URL.
  • There are other specifications too as to mode, height, and width. But at a basic and functional level, you don't need to worry about them.
  • Just copy the URL of the image that you want in the selected cell and insert it between the brackets.
  •  Click on the blue tick mark after pasting the URL, and the image will be added.

But take care of this one thing!

While pasting in the URL, make sure that the URL is between the brackets, and even between inverted commas. So, the entire function goes like this,

  • IMAGE("URL")

Make sure you follow the format correctly. Thus, the function of inserting an image link is over. Try this option instead of inserting an image in the cell option. Like this, when you want to change the image, you just have to change the URL. Otherwise, you have to delete the inserted image, select another one, and insert. This might seem tricky but is more feasible.
