Insert Images in Google Sheets App: 7 Steps
Step 1- Open sheets app: Open the Google Sheets app on your device or go straight to the google sheets official website. This icon is made up of four boxes that resemble a sheet or grid.
- The file type icon for this box or spreadsheet is green.
- Regardless of how you open it, make sure you're logged into your Gmail account.
Step 2- Tap on your sheet: All the sheets you've created or worked on so far will appear. Search for the sheet's name in the search field or scroll through the sheets. Once you find the google sheets you want to insert an image in google sheets, tap on it.
Step 3- Tap on a cell: Select the cell where you want your image.
Step 4- Tap on + icon: You will see the option of "+" icon present at the top of the screen. This is the insert icon. So, tap on this "+" icon.
Step 5- Tap on image: The + icon will display a shortlist of options in the form of a drop-down menu.
Step 6- Tap on your choice & select the picture: When you tap on the image, you will be shown two options to choose from. Choose whether you want your image to be inserted in the cell or over the cells.
Select the first option, "image in cell," if you want your image to be inserted in the cell.
Whereas if you want to insert the image over the cells, you will have to select the second option that says "image over cells."
Step 7- Select your required option: After you select one of the above options, you will be taken to the next set of options. This will take you to another step that again displays two options for you to choose from. You must choose whether you'd like to acquire your image from your gallery/photos or from your camera here.

- If you're using google sheets on the web or your computer, you should click on the cell that you'd like to insert the image at. Then, tap on the insert menu located on the screen above.
