Find WiFi password on Windows 11 in 10 Steps

Step-1 Click opens the 'Windows' icon: Click on the 'Windows' icon or the 'Start' button on the taskbar. It is present at the bottom of the screen.

Step-2 Go to the 'Settings' icon: In the next step, choose the ‘Settings’ option. Or simply open the Settings app using the 'Win+I' shortcut key.

Step-3 Click on 'Network and Internet': Then, go to the 'Network & internet’ section from the left sidebar. It is the second option from the top.

Step-4 Select 'Advanced network settings’ from the menu: Scroll down and select the ‘Advanced network settings’ option on the right.

Step-5 Now, click on ‘More network adapter options’: In the Advanced network settings page, scroll down and select More network adapter options’. This section is present under the 'Related settings' sub-menu.

Step-6 Right-click on your Wi-fi adapter and select ‘Status’: Now, this will open the Network Connections control panel. Here, you have to right-click on your Wi-fi adapter. Then, you have to select ‘Status’. Or you can just double-click on the Wi-fi adapter.

Step-7 Click on ‘Wireless Properties’: In the Wi-Fi ‘Status’ dialogue box, select ‘Wireless Properties’. This option is present under the sub-heading of WiFi status.

Step-8 Switch to 'Security Tab' in ‘Wireless Network Properties’: This will show another pop-over dialogue box. This pop-over box is ‘Wireless Network Properties’. In that option, switch to the ‘Security’ tab.

Step-9 Check on 'Show Characters': And then, in the next step, check on the ‘Show characters’ option as shown below.

Step-10 Now, see your WiFi Password: Now you will see the password of your Wi-fi Network in the Network security key field.

Can we change the password of our Wi-Fi through our device?

Yes, you can do that. Let us tell you the brief steps. You can use your old Wi-Fi password for this purpose. Or you can also enter the default information that's listed on your router. Then, press enter. Then, check for the 'Password' or 'WPA-PSK Key' field, click it, and enter a new password to change it. It was as easy as that.
