Step 1- open WhatsApp: As the first step in the process, you need to open the WhatsApp app that you have installed on your mobile phone.
- To do this you will have to scroll through the list of all the installed apps on your phone.
- Once you have spotted the icon for the WhatsApp application.
- Tap on it once. This icon will be in green colour and will look like an encircled telephone image.
Step 2- Tap on the 3 dot button present on top right corner: After you have opened the app, you can see the list of chats on the first page that appears on your screen.
In the upper right corner of this page, you will find three dots of white colour. This is the icon for contacts in imo. Tap on it once. This icon is used to open the menu in WhatsApp.
Step 3- Tap on settings: A pop up menu will appear in the upper right corner, as soon as you click on the three white dots. In this pop up menu, look for the settings options.
It will be the last option in the menu and will appear just after the payments option. Tapping on settings, will take you to the settings menu. Click on it once.
Step 4- tap on Account: After entering the settings menu, you will again see a list of options appear on your mobile screen. The first option will be for accounts settings. This option can be used to manage account privacy and security. Tap on this option.
Step 5- Tap on Privacy: After entering this new menu, you will see an option "privacy" at the top of the menu. You can identify it by the icon beside it. It will look like a closed lock of green colour. Tap on it once.
Step 6- Tap on Last Seen: The WhatsApp interface will redirect you to a new page. On this page you can see the option "Last seen". Click on the this option once.
Step 7- You can click on nobody. Now your WhatsApp last seen is hidden: After clicking on the "last seen", a popup menu will appear on your mobile screen. This menu will have three options.
- The previously selected option or the default option will be marked in this menu by a green dot.
- You will have to tap on third option that reads as "nobody". The green dot marker will now appear beside nobody.
