Step 1: Open the Amazon app: The first order of business in deleting Amazon Wallet is to open the Amazon App. If you don’t know how to find the Amazon app on your phone, To find it-
- Open the App Drawer on your phone.
- Click on “Search Apps” and type ‘Amazon on it’.
- You will see an App that looks like a carton box and it has a smiley on it. And that smiley is also an Arrow.
- Click to Open that App.
Step 2: Tap on the 3 dot button below: When you do find the App and you open it, you will be greeted with Amazon’s Homepage. On that page, you will see multiple options and at the bottom, you will see 4 icons. In the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, you will see a three-dot button. You will have to click on that option to move ahead.
Step 3: Tap on "Your things": When you finish the above steps, you will see a page in front of you and on that page, you will a lot of icons on it.
- Scroll down on the page till you see an icon named “Your things”. It’s icon would be of an open carton box.
- Tap on that icon to proceed further to delete Amazon Bank Wallet.
Step 4: Tap on "Your Account": When you do click on “Your Things”, you will see that a menu will appear below this icon. And on that menu you will find an option called “Your Account” that you will have to click.
Step 5: Tap on "Manage Payment": When you follow the above steps you will be led to another page, where you will find various sections with multiple options. In there you will see a section called “Amazon Pay”.
- In that section, you will find an option called “Manage Payments”.
- You will have to select that option to continue further.
Step 6: Tap on "Remove: After you tap on “Manage Payments”, you will be led to another page where you will find a heading called “Wallet”. In that section, you will see all your Payment options, your cards, and everything. You will have to tap on the “Remove” option that you will find below each of your payment options.
Step 7: Tap "Confirm": When you do click on “Remove”, you will be asked to confirm your deletion. You will have to select “Confirm” to complete this process.
