How to Create Instagram Reels

You must have heard the word 'Reels' at least once if you are living in the 21st Century. They are the latest trend and craze. If you too want to jump on to that, then create Instagram reels with the help of these steps. Are you not clear about what exactly reels are? Let me explain to you in a crisp manner.

Simply said, reels are short-form videos.
They can be made of 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, and up to 1 minute.
They are engaging and creative because everything happens in under 1 minute only.
Most Instagram users make even shorter reels than a minute.

So, if you want to share on Instagram, a reel is the new answer. The only way to get good at it is by starting to create reels and gradually, you will learn the tricks of the trade.

How to Make Reels On Instagram

Create Instagram Reels: 5 Steps

Step-1 Open Instagram Application: Come on, don't be afraid and shy to use Instagram. It is just another social media platform. And if used well, it is really amazing and qualitative.

So, open the Instagram application on your android or apple device. It is available on both devices freely.
If you do not have it, then go to the play store or app store application, search for Instagram, and install it.
Create a new Instagram account if you do not have it or log in with current details.

Step-2 Go to Profile Icon: Now, on opening the Instagram application, you see the feed by default. From here, you can see others' stories and posts.

To create Instagram reels yourself, go to the profile icon.
At the bottom of the feed page, there are five icons.
From that, the one at the extreme right is the profile icon. It shows a miniature of your profile picture or a person's icon as seen in the picture below.
Click on that to go further.

Step-3 Plus Icon: By clicking on the profile icon, your profile opens up. Here you see your followers, following, number of posts, and even see all the posts. Most of the profile settings can be done from here itself.

On the top of the page, you see a '+' icon.
It is just beside your profile name.
That icon is to add different things to your profile.
So, click on that.

Step-4 Click on Reel: By clicking on the plus icon, a list pops up from the bottom of the screen. That is the list to create different things on Instagram.

To create reels on Instagram, choose the reel option from the list.
It is just below the post option.

Step-5 Click and Create: A screen will open up from which you can record the reel. The center button is square in shape with a play icon in the center. By clicking on that, the recording starts for the reel.

Thus you can record it, then preview it, choose the next option after preview, and post it.
There are many different effects and music that you can add while shooting the reel.

If you are completely new at creating reels, go to the reels tab at the center of the screen when you open the Instagram application. You can view others' reels and scroll them to get inspiration. See what's your motive to create reels and use them accordingly. You can even create reels with trending music just for fun and happiness. So, what are you waiting for?
