Step 2 - Tap on the 3 dots present on the top right corner: Now you will see that you are on the main screen of the app. On the app screen, you will see there are three vertical dots present at the top right corner of your screen. Click on these three dots and a menu will dropdown.

Step 3 - Tap on the Settings option: A menu will slide down on your screen with a list of multiple options. From this menu, you have to select the sixth and the last option which is of the Settings. Just tap on it to select it.
Step 4 - Tap on your profile picture: Now you will reach the settings section of the messaging app. Under this tab, you will find a bunch of different options.
- Since today we want to change our profile picture here, so click on your profile picture.
- It will be in a round icon as shown in the image below.
Step 5- Tap on the camera icon: The next step is to click on the small camera icon on your profile picture as shown in the image below.
Step 6 - Select any of them to change your profile picture: Now two options will appear on your screen that is the Gallery and the Camera option. You can select any one of them to change your display picture.
- If you will select the camera option, the camera will be opened on your screen to let you click the picture and update it as your DP.
- However, if you will select the gallery option, then you will be directed to your phone's gallery.
- From there you can select any picture that you like to be your display picture.
- Furthermore, select the picture, adjust it, and Voila! You have now successfully changed your display picture.
