Step 5: Tap on gender: The fifth step is to scroll down to the next page after you click "Profile Information". Scroll down until you see the heading BASIC INFO. Under that heading, click on your gender ("Male" for the below-given image).

Step 6: Choose the gender: Now comes the most crucial step, choose the gender which you want. Also, you can choose custom gender as well where you can mention your gender if it is not mentioned with custom.

Step 7: Tap on save: Finally, the last step is to tap on the save option in the blue colored box as shown below in the image after you choose your gender. After you click on Save, your gender will be updated on your Facebook app Profile.
