Well, definitely there is. You can add comments in Google Sheets and let others know about your views. It also works for delegating work and planning your projects. Step-1 Open Google Sheets Application: In order to add comments in Google Sheet, you will have to open up the application. Its symbol is a simple green paper. Over the paper, there is a square box divided into four cells.

  • It is easy to spot. And if you don't, go to the play store and type in the search bar 'google sheet'.
  • Look for the described logo and download it. Let it load and then go further.

Step-2 Choose the cell to add comments in Google Sheet: Open your desired document. Go through the content of your document. By this, you will get an idea about where you want to add comments. Once you have decided that, select that cell.

Step-3 Long Press and Select the Option: If you have selected your desired cell you are ready to add comments in google sheet. Just long-press the specific cell. On doing this, a strip of options will appear.

  • The strip contains options of cut, copy, paste, comment, note, and more.
  • To add comments in Google Sheets, select the option of comment.
  • After this, you will be good to go!

Step-4 Add your Comment: Once you tap on the comment option, a box appears at the bottom of the screen. There will be a box to add a new comment. On the left side, there is a symbol of @, at the rate.

  • Subsequently, on the right side, there is an arrow.
  • You can add whatever you want to in the box.
  • With the option of @, you can tag someone in the comment through their email ID.
  • As a result, they will be notified regarding the comment especially.
  • It helps in giving specific feedback or work to specific people.

Once you're done with writing your comment, click on the arrow and it will be added. Thus, like this, you can add comments in Google Sheets. Want to know whether your comment is added or not? See if there is a yellow triangle on the top right corner of the cell.

In google sheets, on adding a comment, a little yellow arrow is added to that specific cell. When you tap on that cell, an option of view comment will pop up. So, by clicking on that, you can view it, review it, edit it, delete it, or even reply.

The Google Sheets documents are shareable. In the comments, you can tag specific people and tell them their tasks. As there is an option to reply to the comment, the conversation regarding the matter at hand goes on in google sheets itself.
