What is uber waiting charges?

Uber waiting charges are the new charge from Uber. It’s a short charge that driver adds in your final booking charge. When you book a ride on a proper time and driver reaches as the pick-up address and you get late by more than 2-3 minutes then Uber gives the right to the drivers to take waiting charges.

The waiting charges are not allowed on Uber Pool or airport trips. The fee is around $0.10 per minute according to the website. If your driver cancels the ride while waiting, you won’t be charged the waiting charges.
